Conrad Williams is the author of two highly acclaimed novels, Sex and Genius, and The Concert Pianist, published by Bloomsbury in 2002 and 2006. His short stories have been broadcast on Radio 4 and published in You Magazine. Born in 1959 in Winnipeg to a Canadian father and an English mother, he was educated in England at Bedales School and Trinity College, Cambridge, where he read English and Law. In 1983 he qualified as a barrister and was called to the Bar but subsequently became a film TV agent. He is married, has two daughters and lives in London.
